Some background information on Maxim Gorbushin

Maxim Gorbushin is a young and strong man, bedridden due to brain cancer and spinal metastases. He really liked to play football, work, and take care of his family.
However the disease was found in 2012. The brain tumour was inoperable as it was too close to the carotid artery. Maxim underwent a course of radiation treatment and returned to his normal life.
Unfortunately, in 2017 severe headaches started again. There was a relapse. The tumour pressed on the brain, some problems with one eye began.
With the help of fundraising organized by Maxim's family and friends, they managed to get a course of chemotherapy in Germany. But! Maxim was overtaken by a new stroke of bad luck — the spine metastasis suddenly activated, and the man was paralyzed. It was not possible to get the necessary full spinal surgery in Latvia.

New fundraising was organized, and Maxim underwent a 10-hour spinal operation in the same clinics in Germany — Vivantes. Maxim completed a rehabilitation course and left the clinic on his own feet.
Unfortunately, at the moment the situation is as follows:
— The tumour continues to grow.
— Maxim has to tape one eye, since he does not blink normally and practically does not see anything.
— Maxim is tormented by constant pain, even medications do not help.
— It is difficult for him to swallow food, there is numbness of one half of the face, partial loss of voice.
— Maxim cannot move independently, he is bedridden.
Friends! We just need a little bit more funds to collect for chemotherapy in Germany! Let's support Maxim and give hope to everyone who fights and does not give up! Any help can be decisive in the fight against cancer.
